Vehicle donations are our primary source of funding for our daily operations and training programs at Newgate School. When you donate your car, truck, SUV, or van, we’ll evaluate it to determine how we’ll use your gift to get the most value from it (which means a larger tax deduction for you).

If your vehicle goes into our training program or Wheels for Women, your deduction will be equal to the fair market value determined by the Internal Revenue Service. Alternatively, if we use your donated car in our Maintenance program, our students will inspect it and repair any problems. Once it’s deemed safe and given a detail, we’ll sell it, and the amount we get for it will be the value of your deduction.

We also provide working single mothers in the area with free automobiles through our Wheels for Women program. Having reliable transportation is a lifeline for single mothers who have to juggle hauling their kids to school and getting to work on time.
